Kitson Boards is about making good things better.

We took paddleboards (SUPs), surfboards, and wakesurf boards and made them stronger and lighter with carbon fiber technology.

We're bringing quality back to the sport and doing it completely sourced and manufactured in the USA.

We care about our environmental impact.

The strength of carbon fiber keeps our boards on the water and out of the waste stream longer. Our materials are chosen responsibly to protect workers and consumers:
VOC free foam and epoxy: no release of dangerous neurotoxins, endocrine disruptors, and carcinogenic gasses
Water-based paints: no harmful solvents
Recycling: our excess foam finds new life as food containers

That's a smart investment for you and the environment.




Why Carbon Fiber?

Carbon Fiber is the right choice for the next generation of boards. It has twice the specific strength and stiffness of steel at a fraction of the weight. It has high tensile strength, high temperature tolerance, low thermal expansion and doesn’t corrode.

In the past carbon fiber was the exclusive domain of high tech industries like aerospace and the military. Today advances in production have made this material more accessible. You can find it reinforcing the structure of racing bicycles, laptops…and paddleboards.
